When was the last time that you looked at the message that you are sending to your prospects and clients?

Here are few things to consider.

1. Is it simple enough?

2. The economy has changed since last year - is it time to update benefits to todays economy?

3. Tell them how they will...SAVE TIME & MONEY.  Get back to the basics - TAKE waste and vanity out.

Take some time out of your day today and look to see if your image is simple and is the right one for your Ideal Clients.

St. George Business Gets Creative!!!!!

When times are tough it is good to start to develop some fun sticky marketing in your marketing plan. Today I stopped by Atlas title and enjoyed some good BBQ. They were throwing a MARCH MADNESS PARTY for their clients and friends. One of the best things that you can do in marketing when things get slow is get in touch with clients and friends and show them that you appreciate them (and it doesn't hurt to feed them).  I thought that this was a great example of some sticky marketing. I was able to go and fill my belly with a barbeque hamburger and some of Randy's Famous Barbeque Turkey. To top it all off, I was able to do it while watching some college basketball on a nice 52inch HDTV. Here is a little video clip from the Atlas Title 2009 March Madness Party.

The Small Business Stimulus Plan

So, with all this talk of "stimulus plans" and "bail-outs" - many small businesses are wondering how will these plans help them? I mean, small businesses are the keystone of our economy...there's got to be something for us, right?

Wrong! Even though small businesses employ almost 90% of Americans - it seems as if we are last on the todem pole when it comes to help from the government. And I know that Obama is aware of the situation and knows that he needs to help small businesses survive; but at the same time, he's got so many other fires to put out that it could be awhile before small businesses see their own stimulus plan.

So, we have decided that it is time to take matters into our own hands! We are entrepreneurs and know how to take control of our lives and businesses, and now it is time to do just that!

So, what do ALL small businesses need right now? More business! And what's the quickest and cheapest way to get it right now? Referrals!

This is why Duct Tape Marketing is sponsporing the "Make-A-Referral Week". The goal of the event is to generate 1000 referrals for 1000 deserving businesses. It is just one tiny effort to make a dent in this recession and shine a light on the efforts and impact of one small business helping another.
